Teria Magar honoured in Belgium

Feb 7, 2016- Teria Phauja Magar, an exceptionally brilliant Nepali dancer and winner of the ‘Dance India Dance Little Master-2014’ was felicitated in Belgium recently.
Magar, who reached Belgium at the invitation of the World Magar Association, Belgium chapter, is also the peace ambassador of the Lumbini-Kapilvastu Day Movement.
Europe Advisor of the Movement, Damodar Prasad Acharya, honoured Magar at a special cultural programme organised by the Association at Leuven in Belgium.
On the occasion, Magar handed over a Buddha statute to Chairman of World Magar Association, Belgium, Marke Magar.
Chief of social works and students department at Leuven Municipality Bike Borlinden, Chairman of Himalayan Project Paul Vann, Secretary of NRN Arjun Kumar Shrestha, NRN ICC members Chij Kumar Shrestha, Netra Magar, Janaki Gurung and representatives of different social organisations of Nepalis based in Belgium were present during the event.

Bindu Pariyar awarded $7.25M judgment in revenge porn suit against former husband

Dec 24, 2015- Bindu Pariyar has won a $7.25million (approx Rs770 million) judgement against her ex-husband, who posted her 'porn videos' and sexual photographs in the internet.

Bindu Pariyar, 27, has dozens of Facebook pages and thousands of web pages of her in pornographic poses, in scanty clothing and even having sex with men.

Pariyar claimed that her former husband Tom Randell Sewell began posting the 'revenge porn' after they got divorced in 2012.

Pariyar says that she had gone to the United States to support her economically unstable family. After marrying Sewell, 58, Pariyar claimed that he confiscated her passport and used various manipulation tactics, including drugging her, to get her to pose for sexualized photos, and have sex with other men for money.

After their separation in 2012, Sewell started harassing her by creating fake pages with her name and posting sexual photographs in the internet.

Last year, Pariyar had filed a lawsuit against her ex demanding that all pornographic images be taken down and asking for financial damages.

Meanwhile, her former husband Sewell says that she used him for US citizenship.

बङ्गलादेशस्थित फतुल्लाह रङ्गशालामा आज भएको खेलमा नेपालले आयरल्यान्डलाई ८ विकेटले हराएपछि दोस्रो चरणको सम्भावना बलियो बनेको हो । टस जितेर ब्याटिङ गरेको आयरल्यान्डले पूरै ओभर खेल्दै ९ विकेटको क्षतिमा १३१ रन मात्र बनाउन सक्यो । जवाफी ब्याटिङमा आएको नेपालले २५।३ ओभरमै मात्र २ विकेटको क्षतिमा लक्ष्य भेट्टायो ।

यसअघि आयरल्यान्डलाई सस्तैमा समेट्न नेपालका लागि सन्दीप लामिछानेले ह्याट्रिकसहित पाँच विकेट लिए । त्यस्तै दीपेन्द्रसिंह ऐरीले दुई तथा सुनिल र सुशील कँडेलले १÷१ विकेट झारे । नेपाली धारिलो बलरसामु आयरल्यान्डका ब्याट्सम्यान निरीह थिए ।

आयरल्यान्डले ३८।५ ओभरमै ८ विकेट गुमाएर ९२ रन मात्र बनाएको थियो । त्यसपछि आयरल्यान्ड केही सम्हालिएको थियो । उसका लागि फिचरा तुकेरले अविजित ३०, ज्याक टेक्टोरले २७ तथा एडम डेनिन्सनले २१ रन जोडेका थिए भने अन्य ब्याट्सम्यानले सम्झनलायक प्रदर्शन गर्न सकेनन् ।
